Farm Trail

The Route 52 Farm Trail was great fun last Saturday. We weren’t sure how the turn out would be because of the July 4th holiday and the extreme heat but we were pleasantly surprised with the amount of traffic. The morning was beautiful with nice breeze and we were set up under the shade a huge pecan tree that kept the sun at bay. There really isn’t anything like a day out on the farm.

My tea towels were a huge hit! When I put my creations out there for the world to see, I am always sure that no one will like or want them. I know… I know its  my our insecurity but I feel like the new kid at school on their first day “Mom No one will like me!”  So it was encouraging to have such a positive response.

Farm Fare

The best part of the farm trail is when I leave my parents load me down with all their amazing food! I came home with a bag load of tomatoes, cucumbers, eggs, pickles, fresh bread…. all kinds of yummy goodness. I can’t wait to go back.

Stay safe and have a great 4th of July!
